MLB Playoff Bonuses 2020

2019 was an exciting year for MLB playoff action. The Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros in seven games to win the World Series.

It was even more exciting if you put down some money on the Nationals to win the World Series. Their odds were extremely friendly before the playoffs as they were 10/1 or greater in most places.

Winning the World Series from the Wild Card spot is highly unlikely, but that is exactly what the Nationals pulled off. This was the first online MLB betting for most states as the regular season was mostly over before a lot of the states opened their legal sportsbooks.

We will cover a few of the places that gave you the best baseball playoff odds and had promotions that were intriguing, so you know what to look for this year and feel fully prepared to bet on the World Series 2020

Sportsbooks with Best MLB Playoff Offers

It is never too early to start thinking about MLB playoff baseball for 2020. Sportsbooks will have their first full season of MLB baseball, which is sure to bring their playoff offers to the next level.

You’ve probably entered a few daily fantasy lineups for playoff baseball, but now is the time to start betting on the games and adding another level to your playoff betting excitement.

There are no playoff offers available yet, but we will look at what FanDuel, DraftKings, BetRivers, and William Hill offered last year if possible. FanDuel offered a $500 risk-free bet to all its new customers and had odds boosts for almost every playoff game. It got really creative with its offers, and you could bet on a couple of different players to homer and get 50/1 or greater on a single bet.

DraftKings and FanDuel both had a lot of parlay insurance offers for the MLB playoff bets. You could get up to $25 back on both sites if you hit all but one of your parlay legs.

DraftKings had a deposit match offer to get you ready for the playoffs. It also had odds boosts, but it wasn’t as creative or as profitable as the ones on FanDuel.

BetRivers had a $250 deposit match and offered what it called the MLB stat sweeper sweepstakes during the playoffs. For every $50 bet you had on a playoff game, you got one entry into a sweepstake for up to $10,000.

William Hill was up and running in a few states for the MLB playoffs. While it didn’t offer a lot of promotions or bonuses for the MLB playoffs, its lines were near perfect. Its run totals hit exactly quite often, and the moneylines were usually the best of the bunch.

MLB Playoff Offers Rankings

1. BetRivers

While every one of the four offered some form of odds boost, BetRivers separated itself from the field with the MLB stat sweeper sweepstakes. The more games you bet on, the better your chances of winning. If you were riding a Nationals hot streak through the playoffs, you ended up with quite a few entries.

2. FanDuel

FanDuel is just ahead of DraftKings due to its odds boosting. It was by far the most creative with its marketing of the MLB playoff odds boost. Every day it had something to catch your attention and give you value all at the same time.

Lines across the playoffs were very similar no matter what sportsbook you used.

3. DraftKings

DraftKings only came in ahead of William Hill due to its bonuses. We expected a little more creativity in its first year in the legal sportsbook platform.

DraftKings lacked creativity and didn’t do nearly enough to reach out to customers who were getting their first taste of MLB playoff betting.

4. William Hill

William Hill had the best lines for every game but offered very little else. There were no contests, no promotions, and very little bonus money to speak of.

If you were just making a traditional $25 moneyline bet, William Hill was great. If you were wanting a contest or entertaining promotion, it had nothing to offer.

How To Claim MLB Playoff Promotions

Most of the offers were automatic across all four companies. A few of the deposit matches had a code, but the odds boosts were available to everyone. If you were just wanting to place a single bet, we still recommend line shopping even for the playoffs as the odds were different on almost every site.

The eventual World Series champs ranged from as little as +700 all the way up to +1600 on some sites before the playoffs started. That is a lot of money you left sitting on the table if you got them at +700 instead of +1600.
